2005 Ford Mustang
In 2005, the Ford Mustang went into a new generation of Mustangs. The new body style has features similar to the 1960s Mustangs with the circular headlights and the giant grille, but the new Mustang is built with a modern build.
The 2005 Mustang comes in four different models: base deluxe, base premium, GT deluxe, and GT premium.
Engines are upgraded for 2005, the new engine choices are a 210-hp SOHC 4.0 liter V6, and a 300-hp SOHC 4.6 liter V8.
2005 Ford Mustang tranmission choices remain mostly the same, with the 5-speed manual transmission being the standard. The automatic transmission now has 5 speeds instead of the 4 speed automatic.
New options to the 2005 Mustang include front side airbags covering head and torso, 4-wheel disc brakes are on all 2005 Ford Mustangs. Traction control and ABS is optional for the base models, but is a standard feature on the Mustang GT.
